This is a guide only. It is advisable that you use a professional jeweler for ring size but if one is unavailable this is a good at home technique

1. Prepare the Materials: You will need a strip of paper or string, a ruler marked in millimeters, and a pen or marker.
2. Wrap the Paper or String Around Your Finger: Wrap the strip of paper or string around the base of the finger you want to wear the ring on. Make sure it's snug but not too tight.
3. Mark the Point of Overlap: Use the pen or marker to mark where the strip overlaps. Ensure that the mark is clearly visible.
4. Measure the Length: Carefully unwrap the paper or string and lay it flat. Then, measure the length from the end to the marked point using a ruler. This measurement represents the circumference of your finger.
5. Determine Your Ring Size: Use the following measurements to find your corresponding ring size:

• Ring Size 4: 46.7 mm (1.84 inches)
• Ring Size 5: 49.3 mm (1.94 inches)
• Ring Size 6: 51.9 mm (2.04 inches)
• Ring Size 7: 54.4 mm (2.14 inches)
• Ring Size 8: 57.0 mm (2.24 inches)
• Ring Size 9: 59.5 mm (2.34 inches)
• Ring Size 10: 62.1 mm (2.44 inches)
• Ring Size 11: 64.6 mm (2.54 inches)

1. Choose the Closest Size: Once you have your measurement, compare it to the measurements above to determine the closest ring size. If your measurement falls between two sizes, it's usually best to choose the larger size for comfort.

Remember, these measurements are approximate, and it's essential to measure accurately for the best fit. If possible, measure your finger multiple times at different times of the day to ensure consistency.

Unfortunately due to privacy reasons and to ensure parcels are tracked to your door we do not allow click and collect. We have a dispatch center that is not in a residential area and past attempts at local collection didn't work.

Pretty Soul Stories was created from a fusion of passion, vulnerability & divine timing. When I look back now 5.5 months in I realize I never found crystals, but they they however found me. They found me at a time in my life where I was ticking the boxes of life off the checklist. 

My instincts where strong when my mother wanted to source crystals and I felt a pit in my stomach at the thought of her turning to the wrong place, getting crystals that's path to her had been less than desirable. I took the reigns to ensure the crystals she received had came to her fairly, that the path was clear of unethical behavior and that those who worked hard to bring to us what the earth was ready to share had been fairly paid, fairly treated and above all we got the best quality I could find.

What started as a mission for my mother soon became an incredible fusion of every step of my path that may never of made sense coming into one to take the step into a world I was becoming deeply fascinated with. The obsession to not only use crystals alongside my daily practices both personally and professionally as a registered therapist became strong. Above that the journey of sourcing and connecting with people all over the world who devote their life to these precious crystals has been awe inspiring. 

You have to get to a point where you say If not now then when? I was at that space without even realizing till I stared at my skills on paper knowing I could build a business, knowing I had the goods yet felt terrified at the thought of "failure" of "not being good enough". That is the moment you embrace and walk head first into the uncertainty because if not now then when?

The journey won't be perfect, I will falter and I will fall and make the wrong twists and turns but this entire business is built on intuition, love, passion and ethics. A space to reflect what means the most to me not just with these crystals but to impart beautiful transactions of energy that are fair for everyone, to create sustainable incomes in parts of the world that need it the most and to build long term relationships with you all bringing you a consistently high standard of crystals, service and jokes (if you know you know!)

To look around me and know these crystals are some of the best quality in the world, some of these forms extremely hard to find and being able to bring those to New Zealand quite literally takes my breath away. I am only a keeper for a short while in the journey these pieces go on , but for the moments they are with me know they are treasured greatly.

Crystal Cleansing

I think cleansing crystals should happen when it feels right for you. It shouldn't feel rigid or like you're making a mistake by not adhering to specific timing. If you're inclined to cleanse them during certain moon phases, that's wonderful. However, it's just as perfect if you only feel the urge when you sense they need care and attention.

Here are some beautiful ways you can cleanse your crystals:

Sage: Pass your crystals through the smoke of burning sage, palo santo, or cedar to clear negative energy.

Sunlight: Leave your crystals in direct sunlight for several hours to recharge and cleanse them.

Moonlight: Place your crystals under the light of the full moon overnight to cleanse and enhance their energy.

Salt Bath: Submerge your crystals in a bowl of saltwater (preferably sea salt or Himalayan salt) to draw out negativity.

Running Water: Rinse your crystals under cool, running water, visualizing any negative energy washing away. (Please check your crystals are water safe first)

Earth Burial: Bury your crystals in the soil for a period of time, allowing them to absorb the earth's grounding energy.

Sound Healing: Use sound vibrations from singing bowls, bells, or tuning forks to cleanse and purify your crystals.

Crystal Care

Crystals have been around since the beginning of time and it is important to know they all hold varying degrees of delicacy. Try not to overthink it but here are some basic crystal care tips!

Cleaning: If you choose to clean your crystals the safest way is with a gentle microfiber cloth, soft toothbrush & mild water

Sunlight: Some crystals will fade over time in direct sunlight like window ledges.

Water: Do not submerge your crystals in water for a long period of time and some need to avoid water entirely (pyrite)

Handling: All crystals especially clusters need handled with care as they are natural objects that can easily break

Crystals are a beautiful tool to use alongside your healing journey & life. They are not intended to replace professional advice but are a beautiful support & intuition/energy enhancer.
