Science
Caribbean Calcite is a relatively new discovery, a combination of pale blue Calcite and white to sandy-brown Aragonite. It has a Mohs hardness of 3–3.5, making it soft and delicate to handle. Its dreamy patterns and pastel colours mimic ocean and sky — hence the name.

Locality
Discovered in Pakistan in 2019. Currently only sourced from this region, making it a more limited stone in the market.
